2022, A shitty year.
Happy new year folks. I am not one who likes giving excuses so I wouldn't want to give any, but ngl I was lazy this year. Grateful to God for last year, and my friends, and family. 2022 wasn’t all that great for me but I pulled through. I cried I laughed, I drank garri and I ate good food sometimes, lol.
I met new people who I am grateful for and would want the friendship to last forever. I had few wins and many losses which I would want to document so I can come back next year and see how far I have grown.
My Wins:
- Became more active in the Ilorin tech community
- Graduated school without issues (carryovers and all that)
- Hosted 3 tech events which I am very proud of and I want to explore that hosting this year.
- Got into a Startup (Foosion), with amazing colleagues and bosses.
- Did Hng internship and was disqualified at stage 8, I cried though but it is still a win.
- Met people who I admired and I went out a whole (this is huge for me because I came out of my shell)
- Learning Spanish consistently
- Life, man i am alive, my friends are alive and my family member too!!!!
My losses:
- I don't have money, yes I am still broke temporarily
- My career growth is stunted, but I am definitely giving it all the work I can this year
- Got a lot of rejection letters, this year would be different!
What I look forward to:
- I want to be a design god because I love design.
- Looking Forward to my Nysc (I want it in aviation because I still love aircraft)
- Getting design Jobs and making money.
- Buying mumcee a car this year, she turns 50!!!
- My power bike, maybe?
